Luxury car rental Mallorca: a first-time guide
Everything a first-time renter needs to know before booking a convertible or premium SUV in Mallorca, from eligibility to final price.
- Lead time
- book at least 48 hours ahead to confirm your model
What to know before you book
This beginners' guide to sports car rental in Mallorca starts with the two fixed requirements: every driver must be at least 23 years old and have held a full licence for a minimum of three years. These apply to the lead driver and any named second driver, with no exceptions for model or season. If you're travelling as a group, decide who will drive before you send your enquiry.
When you enquire, you name a preferred model from the convertibles and premium SUVs we work with, such as the Porsche 911 Cabriolet, Mercedes SL, BMW 4 Series Cabrio, Range Rover, Porsche Cayenne or Mercedes G-Class. That choice guides what we source, but the exact car is confirmed only at booking, not at enquiry stage. If your first choice isn't available for your dates, we offer the closest match before you commit.
Once your dates and preferred model are set, you receive a written proposal with the exact daily rate, the card-held deposit for that specific vehicle, and the insurance excess with its reduction option if you want one. Nothing is left to be worked out at the counter. The figure in the proposal is the figure you pay.

First-timer questions
What are the requirements to rent a luxury car in Mallorca?
You need to be at least 23 years old and have held a full driving licence for a minimum of three years. These are the only two fixed requirements for any vehicle in the fleet. Younger or less experienced travellers can still ride along, just not as the named driver.
How is the deposit held on my card?
The deposit is pre-authorised on your card rather than charged outright, and the amount depends on the specific vehicle. It's set out in the written proposal before you confirm, along with the insurance excess and the optional excess-reduction figure. The hold is released once the car is returned and checked.
Will I get the exact sports car model I request?
Your preferred model guides what we source for your dates, but it's confirmed only at booking, not at enquiry stage. If that exact car isn't available, we offer the closest match from convertibles such as the Porsche 911 Cabriolet or Mercedes SL, or premium SUVs like the Range Rover or Porsche Cayenne, before you commit.
Where in Mallorca can the car be delivered?
We deliver island-wide, including Palma airport, Palma port, hotels and villas. The delivery cost depends on the exact address and is included in your written proposal.
How far ahead should a first-time renter book?
We recommend at least 48 hours' notice to confirm the vehicle and arrange delivery to your address. Booking earlier, especially in high season from June to September, gives you a wider choice of models.
What should I check before my first luxury car rental in Mallorca?
Confirm you meet the age and licence requirement, read the deposit and insurance figures in your proposal, and agree the exact delivery address and time. Once those three points are settled in writing, there's nothing left to negotiate on arrival.
Understand deposit and insurance first
Read this before you send your enquiry, so the figures in your proposal make sense.
